A bit about Les Menuires

4.5/5WONDERFUL (4,898 REVIEWS)
Les Menuires is the most affordable entry point to the world’s biggest ski area, the Three Vallees, with a whopping 600 kilometres to explore. With its no-frills architecture and self-catering accommodation, Les Menuires is the humble home of the best selection of on-piste skiing in the Three Vallees. Below the Roc des Trois Marches in the east, there’s a fun-filled set of swooping blues and ambitious reds to be carved. To the west, there’s a selection of fun runs on the Pointe de la Masse, and an ambitious off-piste terrain that’s best enjoyed earlier in the day as it’s mostly south-facing, so it’s quickly affected by the sun, and is also known for the occasional avalanche. Overhead, Val Thorens has the most snow reliability of all alpine resorts, with sectors that surpass 3000 metres.
