Nestled in the majestic Pyrenees, Canillo shines as a family-friendly gem in the Andorran ski scene. As a key access point to the expansive Grandvalira ski area, it boasts a selection of slopes that are especially welcoming to beginners and intermediate skiers.
Beginners: While the options for novice runs are somewhat limited, the excellent Grandvalira ski school makes up for this with high-quality instruction and accessible nursery slopes served by a few drag lifts and a chairlift. This nurturing environment helps beginners quickly build confidence before advancing to explore wider areas like El Tarter, accessible via the Portella Chairlift.
Intermediates: Though it features a noteworthy black run more akin to a red, the real allure for intermediates lies in its strategic position at the far end of Grandvalira's lift system. From here, intermediates have easy access to extensive runs in nearby sectors like Riba Escorxada and can explore the vast network of the ski area, reaching as far as Pas de la Casa, Soldeu, or El Tarter.
Advanced: For advanced skiers, Canillo offers exhilarating opportunities, particularly in the off-piste sectors and challenging runs in Riba Escorxada. The summit drag lift provides direct access to El Tarter’s freeride areas, offering a thrilling descent for those looking for a quick adrenaline rush. Freeriders can also explore varied terrain near the Portella chairlift, choosing between steep challenges and expansive, flowing snowfields.

Pas de la Casa - El Tarter - Arinsal - Soldeu
I usually book flights, transfers, hotel, ski rental and lift passes myself but this year used WeSki for a trip to Morzine. It was so much easier. Everything worked perfectly - transfers arrived on time and there was plenty of feedback throughout the whole process giving you confidence the holiday would go smoothly.
A really useful service that is so much easier to use than other ‘all-inclusive’ sites. It nicely bridges the gap between a travel agent and booking the trip yourself online. I will use WeSki every time I go skiing from now on.
We booked a late minute skiing trip to Morzine through we ski. We looked at booking the trip ourselves but could get anywhere near the price quoted by we ski. The company was excellent and we had no problems at all from start to finish. I would definitely use them to book another weekend skiing trip.
Seamless experience from start to finish. I was spending ages trying to sort out a weekend break and managed to do it with we ski in minutes and for the same price as booking it all up yourself. Flight, transfer and accommodation was all as expected and faultless.
