This traditional but vibrant Italian village is set in the heart of the Dolomiti superski region which covers 1040km of skiable area and is linked by a free ski bus to the Sella Ronda circuit, known as the third biggest ski area in the world. It's also close to cosmopolitan Bolzano and has easy transport links to the rest of Europe. With ski lifts as high as 2,400m, snow cover is quite reliable, and there’s a fantastic range of piste trails to choose from for all abilities, as well as more marked freeride options than any other Dolomites ski area. If the surrounding Dolomite mountainscape doesn’t take your breath away, then the village’s friendly Italian hospitality will, with its friendly mountain restaurants and lively bars. Expect more of a buzzing apres scene on weekends here.
