Skiing in Wengen

Beginners: Wengen’s gentle nursery slopes in the village are ideal for first-timers, while the beginner-friendly areas at Männlichen and Kleine Scheidegg offer stunning views and plenty of space to practice turns.

Intermediates: Intermediates will enjoy the extensive blue and red runs stretching across the Jungfrau Region. Highlights include the picturesque slopes of Oberjoch and Schilt and the varied terrain of Kleine Scheidegg.

Advanced: Advanced skiers can test their skills on the legendary Lauberhorn downhill piste, the world’s longest World Cup course, or tackle the challenging Kanonenrohr run in nearby Mürren. For off-piste adventure, head to the slopes beneath the Eiger for powder-filled descents.

Snowboarding: Freestylers will love the snow parks in Grindelwald, with features for all levels. Smooth carving slopes and long descents across the area make Wengen a great pick for experienced boarders.

Off-piste: Wengen offers fantastic off-piste opportunities, particularly near the Eiger. Guided tours unlock powder-filled routes and breathtaking mountain views.
