With gentle nursery slopes available, beginners can first master these before progressing to the well-groomed blue runs on the Schlossalm or Stubnerkogel. Intermediates: Bad Hofgastein's ski area is ideal for intermediate skiers, with connections to nearby Bad Gastein via Angertal. It covers over 198 km of well-groomed pistes, accessible by an efficient public bus service included with the lift pass. A standout feature is the 10.5 km red run from the top of the Hohe Scharte, which offers a challenging ride and stunning alpine views for a fulfilling skiing experience.

Advanced: Advanced skiers will find challenging terrain on the Stubnerkogel and several black runs on the Graukogel, including the Toni Sailer Strecke. This run stretches 2 km with an elevation difference of 500 m, offering a demanding and exhilarating experience for seasoned skiers.
