As part of the world’s biggest ski area, the Three Valleys, this all-around French Alps resort offers a variety of runs to suit any level, as well as some exceptional off-piste terrain to explore. Unsurprisingly, there’s a lively apres scene, as well as exclusive five-star hotels, Michelin restaurants, luxury shopping centres, and celebrity sightings from all over the world. While not hitting the slopes you can visit Aquamotion, the swimming and wellness centre that holds pools, slides, and every kind of spa facility you can think of.

    Courchevel is a snow-sure resort, with 85% of its skiable terrain sitting above 1,800m. The resort’s north-facing slopes maintain excellent snow conditions, even as the season progresses, with a summit elevation of 2,738m and extensive snow-making covering over 50% of the pistes. The snowiest week is typically the second week of December, averaging 3.2 snowy days and 45 cm of snowfall, ensuring a reliable start to the season.

    Courchevel offers 150 km of pistes, with access to the entire Three Valleys network of 600 km. The resort is known for its variety of terrain, making it perfect for all abilities. Beginners will find gentle greens and blues close to the resort, with wide, uncrowded slopes. Intermediates are spoiled with an abundance of red and blue runs, including the long, scenic Creux and the tree-lined Folyeres.
